Venus conjoins Jupiter during the Sagittarius Full Moon on May 23, 2024 calculated with LUNA Astrology Note: All times specified are in Eastern Time Zone. Planetary alignments can be felt 1-to-2 days prior to exact pairings. Overall, this looks like a *mostly* positive week for bullish sentiment as suggested by current planetary transits. Prepare for a shift of energy Monday when the Sun enters lively and curious Gemini at 8:59 AM. Planet of trade and commerce Mercury oversees Gemini so expect trading to be highly active and unstable. Gemini is the zodiac sign represented by the Twins and therefore a sense of duality. Gemini can be fickle, so it’s possible the stock market will reflect this too. On Wednesday the Sun in Gemini makes an easy “trine” alignment to Pluto. The Sun shines a light on transformations especially regarding technology, cryptocurrencies and innovation. Thursday is jampacked with multiple beneficial and hopeful lineups. First Venus conjoins Jupiter at 29° Taurus, while both make an opportunity sextile to Neptune. These transits are generally considered super lucky. Finances are illuminated with money sign Taurus. It’ll be interesting to see if or how much oil and gas prices rise as Jupiter meets Neptune since both co-rule these commodities. Also on Thursday, the Full Moon at 2° Sagittarius infers expansion with long distance travel, legal matters, and education. At 4:30 PM Venus enters Gemini amplifying Mercury and heightened trading. On Saturday Venus now newly in Gemini trines Pluto, complementing the earlier Sun-Pluto trine on Wednesday. Money and relationship matters come into sharper focus. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and all tech are favored. Early evening Saturday at 7:15 PM, Jupiter leaves Taurus and enters Gemini. Expansion of money and debt issues may subside as growth now turns to all things related to the mind, intellect, thoughts, conversations, and commercial transactions. With Jupiter in Gemini until June 9, 2025, the various investment sectors emphasized are communications, transportation, networking, and media. Remember with so much emphasis on Gemini right now, indexes may prove changeable, as Gemini is a mutable sign that can quickly change course. Best to always have contingency plans and learn to adapt swiftly. On that note, here’s the band Train performing one of my fave astrology themed songs “Drops of Jupiter” as a reminder to focus on personal development and life experience as a form of divine wealth, but don’t forget about Venus for love, beauty, relationships and money. p.s. Sun conjoins Jupiter as Venus conjoins Uranus in NYC on May 18, 2024 calculated with LUNA Astrology Note: All times specified are in Eastern Time Zone. As astrology and planetary patterns prove influential time and again, this week should be way more dynamic than last. Early on Monday, the Sun links with Uranus. In mundane astrology the Sun represents leaders and Uranus signifies sudden surprises. We may therefore hear some shocking news that will also affect global and/or U.S. markets. Btw, it's quite interesting how last weekend's solar storms erupted a few days before the Sun was about to conjoin Uranus, bringing us the shock and awe of spectacular Northern Lights seen much farther and further than normal. (Uranus symbolizes eruptions and excitement!) This astrology proves impeccable timing as actionable events often happen prior to an exact alignment. Later Monday afternoon Venus aligns with Saturn in a 60° “opportunity sextile” angle for more fiscal discipline. Venus = money and relationships. Saturn = limitations, restrictions. Perhaps the Fed or other financial gurus will suddenly turn more hawkish in advance of CPI data to be released on May 15. Also, as of 6:36 AM on Monday, the Moon in Leo suggests fiery emotions. At 10:35 AM the Leo Moon opposes Pluto which infers some type of critical climax. Therefore, the first trading day this week could be quite volatile. Separately on Tuesday dwarf planet Ceres, our celestial guardian of grains, nurturance, and abundant Mother Nature, turns retrograde at 21° Capricorn. Ceres appearing to slow down could be what’s exacerbating extreme weather-related events lately. On Wednesday at 1:05 PM, Mercury enters Taurus. News, conversations and interests then lean more toward practical and artistic Venusian matters including money, relationships, music, fashion, and art until Mercury enters Gemini on June 3. The Moon enters Virgo at 5:33 PM on Wednesday as well, amplifying our inclination for details, organization and analysis. This is a great energy for finding solutions, examining your investments, and cleaning out closets Marie Kondo style. On Thursday and Friday Mercury aligns in a challenging 90° square to Pluto. This indicates traders will need to make important adjustments to their investments. As options will also be expiring, increased market volume and volatility is typical. Additionally on Thursday, goddess asteroid Pallas Athene already in retrograde motion moves back into Scorpio. Pallas Athene embodies female warrior energy while Scorpio spotlights sexuality and genitals. Maybe more media broadcasts about abortion rights? Or maybe a welcome added influence for news about warring countries as she’s known for wisdom. Saturday is power packed with 2 important planetary patterns: Venus conjoins Uranus as the Sun conjoins Jupiter. Venus is money earned while Jupiter is massive wealth such as what is stored in banks. We can easily feel these vibrations within 24 to 48 hours before these exact alignments. Money or relationship shocks are possible, particularly for banking or innovative stocks and sectors like technology and cryptocurrencies. Since the Sun indicates leaders and Jupiter oversees legal matters, perhaps a big surprise in one of Trump’s trials is in the cards. Sunday has a double-edge juxtaposition of dynamisms. The Sun pairs with Neptune in a hopeful “opportunity sextile.” The flip side of Neptune is its foggy and deceptive symbolism; we can have hope in a fog while being deceived about what’s there. Rather important for the week’s end, we’ll also be under the influence of Mars (currently in warrior sign Aries) linking to the North Node. Here’s a table from LUNA Astrology Software showing Mars conjunct North Node dates since 2000: Now here’s the historical data of market activity for the Dow Jones, S&P 500 and NASDAQ on these prior dates and/or weeks: As you can see, 21st Century history shows U.S. indices typically end lower when Mars is conjunct the North Node. Mars represents our drive and is also a trigger of events as well as a mundane significator of war while the North Node embodies our collective consciousness. I pray this Mars-North Node cycle doesn't trigger increased global hostilities. Astrologically, all the above seems like this week and weekend will be an important turning point or new beginning with potential surprise announcements or events. It’s uncertain how markets will end this week with Uranus in the mix. Disruptive Uranus can bring surprise breakouts or breakdowns. Market results likely depend on both financial and geopolitical leadership guidance where just one individual is the variable that can make mass waves. The Sun is our brightest star and analyzed as a potent planet for astrological purposes. It conjoins expansive Jupiter Saturday exactly at 2:45 PM. The Sun represents our life force and soul purpose. It often acts like a trigger for events, especially in conjunction. My tip for this week: don’t get rattled or be caught off guard by surprises. Better to learn the art of adapting. Changing plans as necessary is one of our biggest lessons as humans. To honor the positive and life-giving energy of the Sun, and as a big Beatles fan, I’d rather tune into “Here Comes The Sun” as we in the Northern Hemisphere start to enjoy more sunny days of Spring and Summer. p.s.
