Note: All transits are based on Eastern Time Zone.
Overview: It’s an active week of Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Pluto transits.
Sunday, March 28
The Full Moon in Libra occurs while in opposite sign Aries Venus conjoins Chiron. Balancing love and relationships, healing and independence are central themes. If it’s hard to harmonize with your partner and find resolution, you can always choose Aries individuality and try to steer clear of creating more hassles.
Monday, March 29
The Aries Sun - Chiron hookup joins yesterday’s duo. A healthy ego is good so long as it’s not rude or over inflated. Some of us may still feel touchy or even a bit emotionally wounded. This passing transit doesn’t last long. Luckily Mercury kissing Neptune in compassionate Pisces offers mental idealism and kind sensitivity.
The Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) is having its annual educational event, running April 22-27, 2021. This 2021 Virtual Conference is aptly named “Astrology and The Great Awakening” for the modern popularity boom in Astrology and important influence of both Jupiter and Saturn now transiting the sign Aquarius. (Lofty Air sign Aquarius is associated with and "ruled by" the planet Uranus, aka "The Awakener".) I’m delighted to be a member of the program speaking as part of the Yoga, Creativity and Soul practice sessions on Monday, April 26. My presentation is titled “Intuitive Astrology for Creative Writing”. The lesson description of my very interactive class is as follows:
“Discover your artistic and harmonious heart center for creative fun and relaxation. We’ll first connect with our individual planets Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Sun and Moon for intuitive guidance. Then we’ll review the “Asteroid Muses of Creativity” to unite with one or more to support you writing a new original masterpiece. All kinds of written poetic forms whether rhyming, free verse, narrative, lyrics, spoken word, etc. are welcome. You’ll be gently guided with prompts to explore and craft what lies hidden stirring in your soul. Adventure, passion and peace await inside your own imagination.”
When giving credit to esoteric wisdom found in the language of Astrology, it’s important to remember all translations rest on human interpretation. Today there are many excellent working astrologers and book authors as this profession is rapidly growing. Below I’ve selected “Three Wise Men of Astrology” as timeless leaders known for remarkable insights and soulful character as they describe what the spirit or human eyes cannot tangibly see.
First a brief bit of history as to why I associate the astrologers below as Modern Magi. You’ve likely heard Biblical Magi were wise men and kings in ancient times. Many from Persia were priests fluent in both Astronomy and Astrology. Back then Astrology was considered a science. It fascinates me how the Magi religious practices and their accent on astrological observations became associated with the occult and later the English word “Magic.”
