Note: All transits are based on Eastern Time Zone.
Overview: It’s an active week of Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Pluto transits. Sunday, March 28 The Full Moon in Libra occurs while in opposite sign Aries Venus conjoins Chiron. Balancing love and relationships, healing and independence are central themes. If it’s hard to harmonize with your partner and find resolution, you can always choose Aries individuality and try to steer clear of creating more hassles. Monday, March 29 The Aries Sun - Chiron hookup joins yesterday’s duo. A healthy ego is good so long as it’s not rude or over inflated. Some of us may still feel touchy or even a bit emotionally wounded. This passing transit doesn’t last long. Luckily Mercury kissing Neptune in compassionate Pisces offers mental idealism and kind sensitivity. OPA 2021 Virtual Conference + My Creativity Session “Intuitive Astrology for Creative Writing"3/8/2021
The Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) is having its annual educational event, running April 22-27, 2021. This 2021 Virtual Conference is aptly named “Astrology and The Great Awakening” for the modern popularity boom in Astrology and important influence of both Jupiter and Saturn now transiting the sign Aquarius. (Lofty Air sign Aquarius is associated with and "ruled by" the planet Uranus, aka "The Awakener".) I’m delighted to be a member of the program speaking as part of the Yoga, Creativity and Soul practice sessions on Monday, April 26. My presentation is titled “Intuitive Astrology for Creative Writing”. The lesson description of my very interactive class is as follows:
“Discover your artistic and harmonious heart center for creative fun and relaxation. We’ll first connect with our individual planets Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Sun and Moon for intuitive guidance. Then we’ll review the “Asteroid Muses of Creativity” to unite with one or more to support you writing a new original masterpiece. All kinds of written poetic forms whether rhyming, free verse, narrative, lyrics, spoken word, etc. are welcome. You’ll be gently guided with prompts to explore and craft what lies hidden stirring in your soul. Adventure, passion and peace await inside your own imagination.” This poem was written for an "Astrology Hug" challenge back in December 2020 to win a special prize from Astrology Hub. I'm happy to say I won a free gift! I was truly honored when Astrology Hub founder Amanda Pua Walsh spoke these words aloud for that winter conference's opening ceremony:
"DEAR COSMOS" This really has been the strangest year Not always so easy to smile and cheer Yet I’m very grateful to still be here And see bright stars when the sky is clear With hot herbal tea inside my mug A focus on health to avoid any bug I’m seeking more love as a powerful drug And giving astrology a great big hug |
