You'll notice the month gets more active as of the September 17th Lunar Eclipse which is at 25° Pisces exact 10:34 PM Eastern Time. Notice how this coincides with the next FOMC meeting. Investment market gurus are expecting the Federal Reserve to finally lower interest rates since starting to hike them back in March 2022. This will be huge news!

Other noteworthy transits suggesting unwelcome stress and potential bearish volatility especially during the second half of the month that are not shown above (give a 3- to 5-day orb or window of influence for Mars and beyond) include:
- September 7 - 18: Mars Out of Bounds
- September 14: Heliocentric Mars conjunct Uranus
- September 16: Mars square North and South Node
- September 25: Mars semisquare Uranus
- September 26: Saturn semisquare Pluto
- September 29: Sun conjunct South Node

Mars conjunct Uranus also conjunct Fixed Star Algol is a rare, once-in-a-lifetime planetary alignment. This upcoming transit is significant since Fixed Star Algol is considered by ancient astrologers the nastiest fixed star in the heavens. Mars is the impulsive and aggressive warrior planet. Uranus with an 84-year return cycle is the lightning sky God influencing sudden, unexpected events.
 
The combination of these 3 conjoined together suggests we might hear and see some major news around the globe the week before and after their exact alignment by degree on July 15. Following this 3-way conjunction, slower planet Uranus will meet head on with Algol by degree and minute from July 19 to July 20.
 
Mythological stories talk about “Demon Star” Algol representing tragedy and Medusa’s beheading. Therefore, this fixed star symbolizes grave themes of death and “off with their head” type scenarios. In a way we’re already seeing that in U.S. politics. Leading USA Democrats and donors are calling for Biden to cut short his presidential campaign.

There’s greater likelihood of more earth-related events since Mars and Uranus are both in zodiac earth sign Taurus. Earth events often occur when Mars and Uranus make contact in hard alignment by conjunction, square or opposition. Indeed, mundane news includes Mount Etna in Italy erupting as of July 4.
 
Red hot planet Mars is also known for heat and we’ve got plenty of that too with heat waves throughout the USA and currently 3,311 wildfires burning in California as I write this: https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents We also just saw the earliest Category 5 Atlantic hurricane on record as Beryl barreled through the Caribbean.
 
Be on the lookout for additional geopolitical, financial and weather-related shocks to happen these next few weeks. News about war(s) in the media could get fiery. Perhaps Biden will concede and step down as the incumbent candidate on or near July 23 when the Sun in Leo (a proud king or leader) faces against Pluto in Aquarius (power of the people) in direct opposition.
 
As for financial markets, we might see dramatic and sharp reversals or break outs around this time band. This is especially true for technology stocks and cryptocurrencies (Uranus ruled) and maybe also defense stocks (Mars ruled). We’re already seeing Bitcoin making more than usual big moves downward. Will you buy during the dips?
 
In your personal life, be careful of being hasty or distracted while walking, running or driving. You may notice folks are angrier than usual during the first half of July. Keeping a lower profile than usual may be wise depending on your own circumstances. Take special care in all daily matters to avoid accidents. Mars-Uranus highlights accident-prone behaviors.

This week’s planetary moves suggest a continued lack of clarity or foggy confusion with both Mercury and the Sun at a 90° square angle to Neptune. Mental acuity and self-expression may become muddled.
 
Prepare important conversations and trading activities with care and ahead of time if possible. Double check all your work and your thoughts to get your mind clear before acting.
 
Venus enters zodiac sign Cancer early Monday. On Thursday, the Sun follows Venus into Cancer for Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.
 
Famous astrologer and investor W.D. Gann considered the solstices and equinoxes trend change indicators. We might be nearing a less bullish cycle as the CNN Fear & Greed Index has recently changed from Neutral to Fear.
 
Midweek Wednesday is Juneteenth. It’s rare to have a national holiday on hump day where U.S. markets, banks and government offices are closed. This can throw off investors smooth stride despite a needed break.
 
Since the emphasis changes from mutable Gemini to cardinal Cancer energies, our focus will likely be on family, home, security, and initiating new plans for the immediate future (like summer vacation). We may be a bit emotional since Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and more inclined to protect our assets.
 
The Real Estate sector should receive greater focus in the news: changing mortgage rates, skyrocketing property insurance and imploding commercial real estate all become fodder for the media. If you own a residence and/or invest in a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), it’s a good time to review these especially after the Sun enters Cancer on Thursday.
 
Options cease trading on Thursday. Mercury makes a 60° opportunity sextile alignment to Mars on Friday, which is also Triple Witching Day. Simultaneously, there’s a Friday Full Moon at 1° Capricorn which opposes the USA’s natal Venus at 3° Cancer. Expect some volatility.
 
These combined transits infer extreme trading volumes with potential for bullish momentum. However, the business-minded Full Moon is also square Neptune, again implying confusion, disillusion, or visions of grandeur.
 
Emotions, trading and finances receive a double whammy with the Moon, Mercury and Venus all out of bounds starting Thursday, June 20. These could heighten indications toward extreme mundane events for the next 3 months.
 
Unpredictable weather, geologic and financial situations can crop up, particularly those related to water and other liquids like oil, natural gas, and hurricanes. We’ve seen this just lately with flooding in Florida. Stay safe!
