Author calculated April 6, 2023 Full Moon Zodiac Chart via Astro.com As we see from the above chart wheel, there’s a pile up of planets in Aries and Taurus. The Full Moon in Libra opposes the Sun, Chiron, Jupiter and Eris, all in Aries. Therefore, this waning 2-week lunar cycle spotlights courage and taking bold actions (Aries) to heal wounds (Chiron) related to wealth protection (Jupiter) that has experienced discord (Eris). Taurus ruled by Venus represents our money, banking and currencies. Planetary symbols depicted in Taurus include Mercury, the (North) True Node, Juno, Uranus, and Venus. The markets will be heavily focused on the development of financial systems, especially through commercial trade (Mercury), partnerships (Juno), innovation and technologies (Uranus) for our money needs (Venus). I expect we'll see some big news and extreme trading with Mercury conjoining North True Node at the onset of this full moon. This emphasis of planets in Aries and Taurus suggests an overall bullish phase for U.S. markets, although it will likely still be choppy with a few bearish days in between. April 5 to 8: Coinciding with the Libra Full Moon, the Sun conjoins Chiron (inflation) in Aries while Mercury in Taurus sextiles (harmonizes with) Saturn in Pisces. Venus (money) in Taurus (again, money) sextiles Neptune (Oil) in Pisces (again, Oil) on Good Friday suggests a potential for higher oil prices. Mercury (trade) sextiles Mars (actions, defense) in Cancer early Saturday morning. The confluence of all these energies is mostly positive for markets, although investors have a tendency toward indecision during a Libra Moon, seeking to find balance. April 10 to 11: Venus enters Gemini and makes a flowing trine to Pluto in Aquarius. As Venus (money) aligns with Pluto (power, energy) in Air signs, stocks could easily lift higher for a nice bounce. More importantly, the Sun conjoins Jupiter in fiery Aries this Tuesday, so we’re lit to be bold and expand our horizons in all life areas. The shadow side of Sun-Jupiter in Aries is that leaders (Sun) might expand (Jupiter) war or be aggressive (Aries), so we shouldn’t rule out that unfortunate potential. On a mundane level, anger among politicians or between governments is a threat to market calm. April 12: There are mixed planetary signals on Wednesday with a Capricorn Moon opposition to Mars, then trine to Mercury and Uranus, plus the Moon will square Chiron. We might encounter emotional (Moon) anger (Mars) about inflation (Chiron) that could dampen market spirits. The tech sector (Uranus) and commercial trades (Mercury) look more promising. As astrological theories go, the outer planet usually wins; for this situation that’s Uranus. April 13: Thursday will also likely be tricky and confusing with a void-of-course Moon for most of the trading day. Oil and technology are in the spotlight with Moon in Capricorn (governments) sextile Neptune (oil) then Moon conjoining Pluto in Aquarius (tech, energy, power) later in the day. Neptune tends towards fantasy, idealism and confusion. Hopeful but confused investors is an appropriate vibe description. April 14: We might see a financial reality check or pull back on Orthodox Good Friday with Venus (money) in Gemini square Saturn (limitations) in Pisces. Both planets in edgy alignment and mutable signs suggest a potential albeit brief reversal. The Moon in Aquarius also squares Mercury and Uranus in Taurus for added tension. Will the bulls push on through? Let’s flip a coin, then wait to see how it lands. April 17 to 18: We’re now under the influence of the upcoming Solar Eclipse (a 6-month cycle) plus Jupiter (wealth) conjoining Eris (discord). Enjoy these two days if you can. Monday should be full of big dreams and wishful thinking with the Moon conjoined Neptune in Pisces. Traders may even appear giddy, and oil prices are spotlighted. Tuesday is divergent as the Moon in Aries sextiles Venus and then squares Mars. People may end up seeking security and sell off by end of the trading day. April 19 to 20: I’ll have more to say next time about the new moon Solar Eclipse and Jupiter-Eris conjunction. Solar Eclipses usher in new directions that can last six months or longer. Prepare in advance for some dramatic shifts as the eclipse takes form. ADDITIONAL CHARTS BELOW: Here’s what stands out in the New York Stock Exchange - Full Moon synastry chart comparison: House area 11: Transiting True Node (our collective direction) and transiting Mercury (commerce, trade) conjoin NYSE Venus (money, banking) PLUS transiting Venus (money, banking) conjoins NYSE Mercury (commerce, trade) – all in money sign Taurus! This is a rare set up showing the focus for these two weeks is on communications, commercial trading, money, banks, and currencies. The 11th house represents our long-range dreams and goals. These configurations reinforce optimism and bullish markets as well as the most paramount market issues during this waning lunar cycle. Author calculated NYSE - April 6, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com Next for the DJIA - Full Moon synastry chart below: House area 9: Transiting Venus (money, banks) conjoins DJIA Venus (money, banks). Clearly issues about money and banking are of prime relevance as here again it’s the major theme. I consider this Venus pairing a bullish indicator for the Dow Jones Index during April’s waning lunar phase. Author calculated DJIA - April 6, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com Below is the NASDAQ - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 1: Transiting Uranus (technology, innovation) conjoins NASDAQ Saturn (structures, limitations, restrictions) in money sign Taurus. Surprise bullish trends for the NASDAQ are likely while tech companies restructure their businesses with cost cutting measures such as employee layoffs. Author calculated NASDAQ - April 6, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com See below for the S&P - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 10: Transiting Saturn (limitations) conjoins S&P Venus (money, banks) in Pisces. The S&P index trend during this cycle is more bearish than bullish. A somewhat restrictive or moderate tone is probable with lower break outs than the DJIA or NASDAQ. Companies in the S&P that are structurally sound with solid cash flow should fare best. House area 11: Transiting Sun (leaders) conjoined transiting Chiron (healing wounds) conjoins S&P Moon (people, investors). Government leaders in Congress, the Fed, and S&P corporate CEOs will be under pressure to keep markets from crashing so that investors keep bigger long-term goals in sight. Author calculated S&P - April 6, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com For the Federal Reserve Board - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 9: Transiting Neptune (illusions, confusion, fears) still conjoins the Fed’s Juno (partners) and Eris (discord) in Pisces (wishful thinking). Neptune implies deception and/or a lack of clarity. The Fed will continue to be uncertain about how to lower inflation and how much to raise interest rates in the aftermath of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. Author calculated March 7, 2023 Full Moon Zodiac Chart via Astro.com Note: All exact transits are based on Eastern time zone. With the Full Moon in Virgo and Sun in Pisces, we’re in a changeable “mutable” sign axis. Maintaining fluidity will be most helpful during this waning moon cycle. Virgo and Pisces are service-oriented zodiac signs. A focus now on the needs of others as well as healing yourself will align you with the cosmos. We’ll likely feel that impulse as Saturn, the planet of discipline, responsibility and structure enters Pisces shortly after the full moon. Saturn in Pisces urges us toward concrete tasks based on boundless dreams. However, this serious Saturn influence along with the Moon in Virgo and then Libra can cast a critical eye and create an imbalance of feelings or financial markets until late on March 10 when the Moon enters Scorpio at 7:06 PM. Saturn transits take about 2 to 3 years to travel through each zodiac sign. Saturn teaches us patience and life lessons. Saturn won’t officially leave Pisces until February 14, 2026. Pisces represents our collective spirit while Saturn can dampen moods. This Saturn transit certainly foreshadows a recession. The best way forward to use this energy is focused discipline in all your endeavors. Try to remember Saturn does reward those who are willing to work hard. As March 11 arrives there are 3 harmonious planetary lineups that favor accomplishment and surprise opportunities for love and money: Venus in Aries sextile Mars in Gemini; Mercury in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus; Jupiter conjunct Chiron in Aries. Importantly, Jupiter conjunct Chiron suggests an incremental short-term peak for the current inflationary cycle as it relates to Chiron. We aren’t completely out of the woods yet, but we could start to see a welcome reprieve after this period. March 14 to 19 will be action packed with above normal planetary movements. So much high energy in a short time span often infers market and personal volatility as we lead up to the exact alignment patterns. We’ll be feeling Mars square Neptune before they align exactly on March 14. This implies potential disappointment, disillusion, and/or deception. Fluctuations and a news emphasis about oil availability or prices are possible. Since Mars represents war and Neptune signifies oil, what’s happening with Russia’s war against Ukraine could dominate. On March 15, the Sun and Neptune conjoin in Pisces. We’ll have many dreams and visions to ponder, but it’s best to not get lost in a Neptunian fog. The Sun shines its spotlight on Neptune which again highlights matters of oil supplies. Neptune also rules film, music, and drugs so these themes may also show up prominently on the world stage. March 16 is a day to watch out and think before you speak! We’ll be under the rays of: Mercury conjoining Neptune in Pisces; Sun in Pisces square Mars in Gemini; Venus in Aires square Pluto in Capricorn; Venus entering Taurus; Mercury in Pisces square Mars in Gemini. Prepare for heated discussions in all relationships and wild turmoil in the markets. Once the fireworks subside, on March 17 the Sun conjoins Mercury in Pisces and Venus in Taurus sextiles Saturn. It’s a much smoother day for communicating with others, empowering your visionary ideals, or stabilizing partnership and financial matters. On March 18, Mercury in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. At 12:24 AM on March 19, Mercury enters Aries. By now, we all should know how to structure and proceed with grand revelations. You might want to create a vision board now to serve as a valid reference point for your Spring goals. March 20 is a big power day. First the Sun in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. Then we have the annual Equinox when the Sun enters 0° Aries, a significant world point. On March 21, we reach the next New Moon, which this time is synchronized at 0° Aries. This greatly increases the importance of the upcoming season and strongly suggests major global events. Aries is the warrior cardinal sign that initiates and implements via independent action. More to come on this next time. Below is a mundane relationship (aka synastry) comparison of the USA Sibly birth chart with this full moon transit: House area 7: Transiting Mars conjoins USA Mars in Gemini. Government partnerships and relationships heat up with intensified action. This pairing might trigger amplified U.S. involvement in Russia’s war with Ukraine. Competition, anger, machinery, and weapons are accented. With Mars out of bounds in the sign Gemini, clever double talk, duality, and do-overs are probable. House area 4: Transiting Venus conjoins USA Chiron in Aries. Venus represents money and love; Chiron is our wounds and ability to heal them. The 4th house represents home, family and real estate. This pattern heightens renewed financial concerns for the U.S. real estate market. House area 10: Transiting P.Fort. (Part of Fortune) conjoins USA Saturn in Libra. This transit reinforces U.S. recessionary fears which will no doubt come under a microscope now. Also spotlighted are relationships and legal matters as Libra oversees these. Author calculated USA - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com Moving on to financial astrology indicators, here’s what stands out in the NYSE - Full Moon synastry comparison: House area 10: Transiting Neptune still links to the NYSE Pisces Midheaven arrow. Although this connection is no longer exact, there’s still a lack of clarity where NYSE investing is concerned. Neptune is a foggy gas giant and infers confusion, as I state in my 2023 Forecast Report. Clients receive a complimentary copy of this revealing annual report when purchasing one of my 2 top-tier consultations. (An excellent value!) House area 10: Transiting Venus conjoins NYSE Moon in Aries. Venus symbolizes money and love while the Moon signifies the people. Investors will be focused on that famously quoted line from the film Jerry Maguire, “Show me the money!” We’ll be seeing forthright passion and maybe even anger. House area 10: Transiting Eris conjoins NYSE Saturn in Aries. Again, more discord is noted that can affect NYSE at the structural level. This suggests sustained choppy trading rather than a steady uphill climb or new bull market. Author calculated NYSE - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com Next for the DJIA - Full Moon synastry chart below: House area 6: Transiting Mercury conjoins DJIA P.Fort. (Part of Fortune) in Pisces. Expect reignited news of eventful and fated communications for employees working at large corporations during this waning lunar phase. Stockholders of Starbucks ($SBUX), Apple ($AAPL), Tesla ($TSLA), Amazon ($AMZN) and others will likely see a further push toward workers unionizing which will put additional pressures on these companies. Unfortunately, another possible scenario with this pairing is more news about job layoffs. Author calculated DJIA - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com See below for the S&P - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 10: Transiting Saturn conjoins S&P Mercury in Pisces. Saturn is restrictive and Mercury oversees commerce and trade. This can signal recession fears and a downward trend for the S&P. Investors would be wise to know their limits rather than try to test them. House area 10: Transiting Mercury conjoins S&P Juno in Pisces. This is optimistic for forming commercial and business partnerships with a shared vision. Ideals are strong with Pisces so be advised not to let your imagination run away with grandiose schemes. Like fish, Pisces can swim around in circles and take a long time to make firm decisions. Author calculated S&P - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com Below is the NASDAQ - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 1: Transiting Uranus conjoins NASDAQ Saturn in Taurus. Again, price swings with continued bullish trends are likely although this index will remain choppy due to the disruptive nature of Uranus contacting Saturnian structure. House area 6: Transiting P.Fort. conjoins NASDAQ Uranus-P.Fort. conjunction in Libra. This suggests unexpected shocks and unbalanced partnerships. Being in the 6th house area of employees, again we’re most likely looking at surprises due to workers seeking unions. On the positive side there could be huge breakthroughs in technology, or for the NASDAQ index itself. Author calculated NASDAQ - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com For Oil 1st Trade Date - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 4: Transiting Neptune conjoins Oil’s Neptune in Pisces. This is not quite exact however implies we’re nearing a new oil cycle since Neptune and Pisces rule oil. We should watch this closely to see what happens when the transiting Sun and Mercury conjoin these positions. Author calculated Oil 1st Trade Date - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com For the Federal Reserve Board - Full Moon synastry chart: House area 9: Transiting Neptune conjoins the Fed Juno and Eris in Pisces. Neptune suggests deception or a lack of clarity, and may have the Fed looking at inflation through rose colored glasses. I suspect there will be a huge debate among all the Federal Reserve Board members on how much to hike interest rates due to dwarf planet Eris (discord) so close to Juno (partners). Author calculated Federal Reserve Board - March 7, 2023 Full Moon Synastry Chart via Astro.com Thanks for reading my forecast. Don’t forget to subscribe!
