Solar Returns, Astro*Carto*Graphy, Wellness, Numerology, Linda Goodman, Las Vegas and Aunt Deanna3/1/2021
 My Aunt Deanna (R.I.P.) was a fellow Pisces Sun like me and the only other astrologer in my family. She calculated my Solar Return Chart one year just before my birthday when I had an acute case of bronchitis that turned into pneumonia. Concerned, Deanna said I’d likely be sick all year if I didn’t go somewhere else for my birthday. Luckily she found some place better for me within driving distance to ring in my personal new year. Upon her advice I booked a brief stay at the Flamingo Las Vegas along with their spa package special. I brought supplements with me as suggested in my #1 favorite natural remedies health book “Prescription for Nutritional Healing” by Phyllis A. Balch CNC. I basked in the hot dry sun, enjoyed the spa and a massage. Unlike most travelers there, I avoided the nightlife and gambling. By day three, I went home all better and refreshed with no trace of illness! In fact, I later learned my Astro*Carto*Graphy chart has both Jupiter and Pluto lines crossing in Vegas, also suggesting the beneficial healing powers I receive while in this location. Another thing my wise Aunt Deanna informed me about was Numerology. Many years ago I created the stage name “Trudee Lunden” hoping to enhance my career as an aspiring singer/songwriter. Back then I unknowingly used the Western Pythagorean Numerology system. Deanna once again enlightened me how the Chaldean-Hebrew Kabbalah Numerology system was more trustworthy and celestial. Upon recalculating my fictitious name by her preferred method, and my inevitable lack of fame and fortune, it revealed her insight as valid and regrettably poignant proof for me. Deanna said she learned of this ancient Numerology system from “Linda Goodman’s Star Signs” book. I quickly purchased a copy and now always review the related chapter “While the Soul Slumbers” when choosing business names or website URLs. There’s also much more interesting New Age information inside this book I haven’t yet had time to fully absorb. My focus and intent in owning it is simply for the vivid and concise numerology descriptions conveyed. There’s also notable mention made of Cheiro, another legendary numerologist and astrologer that is worth reading. Appropriately, “Linda Goodman” (a professional alias) equals 45 (or 27, “The Sceptre”) according to her book. This portrayal is certainly accurate as she was a successful and prolific writer/author, astrologer, numerologist, palmist and poet who wrote multiple books. Her classic, “Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs” was the first Astrology book to appear as a New York Times best seller. The fan website www.linda-goodman.com was created in her honor and serves as a free public forum for people to ask questions and share all kinds of metaphysical topics and threads. It helps to have educated mentors along our spiritual path. I definitely consider Aunt Deanna someone who taught and inspired me to go further in my Astrology and Numerology studies. I remember my surprise when Deanna told me my given name “Trudy Carol” equals 33 in the Chaldean-Hebrew Kabbalah Numerical Alphabet. I was and am still forever grateful to my "Aunt Dee" for sharing her wisdom, and also learning my parents named me with a number that blesses karmic rewards.
