You may feel a bit more dreamy than usual with this New Moon in Pisces. The Sun and Moon are conjoined in a super sensitive and emotional zodiac sign.
However, with stern taskmaster Saturn only 3° away from the Sun and New Moon, a reality check may burst our bubble of big dreams. The universal love Pisces is known for may be offset by Saturn. Russia’s war against Ukraine or news of children taking guns to school are at odds with peaceful Pisces energy.
Additionally, planet of love and money Venus is loosely connected to planet of dreams and visions Neptune, and these two are also in Pisces. There’s a strong tendency toward wishful thinking.
The combo of four planets all in Pisces may signal some kind of new/renewed beginning or issues about oil supplies. We should watch this closely for the following two weeks.
Expansive Jupiter at 9° Aries is inching toward Chiron at 13° Aries. This suggests inflation will continue to creep higher much to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s dismay. We won’t see the peak for this transit until mid-March.
A little more positive influence is Mercury in Aquarius speaks to Mars in Gemini with a harmonious trine pattern. This infers trade and commerce will remain active, especially for the technology sector. We’ll be able to communicate matters thoroughly with Mercury, yet can see dualism or reversals with Mars.
Here are key dates to watch during this new moon waxing cycle. Keep in mind the cosmos starts vibing at least one or two days before the aspect patterns are perfectly synchronized. Exact aspects are for Eastern Time zone.
February 20: Planet Venus enters Aries within one hour after new moon adding passion and a fiery impetus to any fresh starts you’re planning. For people with a Pisces Sun or rising signs, how you earn income is highlighted.
February 21: Mercury in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. Communications, commerce, and market trading may be erratic and volatile. If overwhelmed, take deep breaths and try to maintain flexibility rather than rigid mindsets.
February 22: Mercury in Aquarius trines Mars in Gemini. I like this for taking forthright actions. Along with the Moon in Aries conjoining Venus, Jupiter and Chiron, there’s a sense we must push ahead now. The only caution is that Aries can activate martian warrior energy.
February 23 – 24: Something big is brewing for the collective globe as the Sun in Pisces sextiles the North Node in Taurus. Remember, February 24 marks the one-year anniversary of Russia invading Ukraine. Pray for peace.
March 1 – 2: It’s a super busy day for sky movements after a lull! Venus conjoins Jupiter in Aries is generally a lucky transit. The flip side is Mercury conjoins Saturn in Aquarius on the same day. Don’t let Saturn put a damper on your joy and instead use discipline and responsibility to make the most of this combo. Saturn semi-sextile to Pluto suggests opportunities await to transform structures. Lastly, Mercury also enters Pisces today, which in the end may leave us somewhat confused.
March 3: Venus conjoins Chiron in Aries. Monetary and inflation concerns heat up again. Also pronounced is how love and/or money can wound or heal. As Adele would say, “Go easy on me”.
March 6: Sun in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus makes this time frame likely full of surprises – mostly good I would think.
March 7: We reach the Full Moon in Virgo, which I’ll write about next time.
Below is a mundane “synastry” relationship analysis of the USA Sibly birth chart with this new moon transit:
“House” area 1: Transiting P.Fort aka Part of Fortune conjoins USA Ascendant. This suggests at least one major fated event will happen for America that will be loudly visible on the world stage. It could be political or financial and I can’t speculate what might occur.
“House” area 3: Transit Saturn conjoins USA Moon infers people in America feel a sense of restriction and limitation during this two-week cycle, as if tough times are ahead. Saturn is at the last two degrees of Aquarius which heightens the energy toward societal needs and may relate to the tech sector. In fact, the Supreme Court is considering cases about Section 230, which could greatly change free and open Internet communication protocols.
“House” area 4: Transit Venus conjoins the USA 4th house cusp emphasizes continued financial issues about real estate and housing. Prices for mortgages and home purchases may see a boost until March 12. Looking ahead that time frame corresponds to a peak inflationary pairing of Jupiter conjoined Chiron and Mars square Neptune.

Moving on to financial astrology indicators, here’s what stands out in the NYSE - New Moon synastry comparison:
House area 10: Transiting Neptune links to NYSE Midheaven arrow. This implies a continued lack of clarity where NYSE investing is concerned. We’re in the midst of dreams vs. delusions, as I state in my 2023 Forecast Report. The report is included with my 2 top-tier consultations.
House area 10: Transit Eris will soon conjoin NYSE Saturn. Eris is the planet of discord, and Saturn oversees our life structures. The simmering slow blending of Eris-to-Saturn unfortunately suggests NYSE results will remain choppy and/or jarring for months to come.

Next for the DJIA - New Moon synastry chart:
House area 6: Transit Saturn conjoins DJIA North Node suggests limitations and headwinds rather than a purely positive growth cycle for this index.
House area 10: Transiting Mars meets DJIA Neptune in Gemini. The 10th house represents status and achievement in the outside world. Gemini is mutable and changeable. Warrior planet Mars is considered malefic aka malicious. Neptune is associated with fears, sectors like oil, entertainment, or healthcare, and also inflation. Secret corporate intrigues being exposed are possible. These interests likely heat up now to be scrutinized in the public eye.

For the S&P - New Moon synastry chart:
House area 7: Transiting P.Fort. aka Part of Fortune conjoins S&P Saturn. This supports the current transit to the USA chart. Fated events having to do with corporate partnerships are likely to affect the S&P during this two-week cycle.
House area 10: Transit Mercury conjoins S&P Chiron implies a spotlight on how trading and investing are interdependent upon inflation.

For the NASDAQ - New Moon synastry chart:
House area 1: Transiting Uranus connects with NASDAQ Saturn. Continued price swings for this index are likely during this new moon cycle. There may possibly be some bullish trends depending on individual stocks or groups within the tech sector. For example, AI aka artificial intelligence has become a hot topic of interest.
House area 12: Transit Jupiter conjoins NASDAQ Eris representing growing discord and fluctuations. This suggests continued choppy trading for investors in this index.
