Don’t be surprised if after the New Moon in Cancer which is exact on Monday, July 17, at 2:32 p.m. Eastern time, we start to see a major trend shift of market momentum, likely toward the downside. It could happen the same day or later this week. Numerous challenging planetary patterns will soon occur exactly between July 20 – 23: Mars opposite Saturn = action confronts limitations (car analogy: foot off the gas pedal hits the brake) Jupiter semi-square Neptune = expansion of dreams challenged by confusion Cardinal Grand Cross denotes a major shift: Sun opposite Pluto = self-direction confronts control Nodes square Pluto = collective test of power Sun square Nodes = stressful “Moon Wobble” event Venus retrograde = money matters reviewed and revised Sun enters Leo = fiery, dramatic energy Chiron retrograde = inflation wounds reverse course Mercury square Uranus = surprise trade/commercial challenges Most important: Venus retrogrades until September 3rd, plus the partile Nodal square to Pluto from July 17 – August 4. Both can indicate a trend reversal. Later this month, Venus (money, finance, banks) and Mercury (commercial transactions) play a big part as they link up on July 27. These two together suggest important news about banking or commercial real estate. The month-long vibe of New Moon in Cancer focuses on home, family and security. Investors may seek protection at this time, which also suggests a retreat from the recent market highs. All the above coincides with Uranus stationing at 22° Taurus, Charubel’s “Degree of Collapse”.
