Poetry - "Nebulous Neptune"
With the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Pisces, I’m super poetic and LOVE writing poetry! I was thrilled to have this poem featured in the ISAR International Astrologer August 2020 issue. The International Society for Astrological Research is a fantastic resource for learning astrology. Members enjoy free weekly “Star Club” Sunday webinars and much, much more while supporting a worthwhile organization.
(As seen from Hubble Space Telescope)
Down below a mysterious surface
icy waters stimulate storm circles
as thirteen or more moons mirror
a faraway magical liquid planet
We see seasonal nebulous Neptune
in elusive boundaries magnify science lovers
the dark and dreamy blue haze of mass
shows atmospheric shadowy weather
What fluid fun for this gaseous giant!
Helium, hydrogen, methane flies loose
beyond human vision here lies Hubble’s view
hovering around deep outer space
Bright white companion clouds stir up
an airy ambiance accompanied by cyclones
as frozen matter swirls to crystallize
Astronomers’ eyes soar to endless skies
Where planets are profound
and within our scope
for physical and spiritual matter
