POETRY - "TRANSITS"

 Here's a heartfelt poem that began as a lyric for a song:

"TRANSITS"

​While Neptune is sitting on my Sun
I tend to get tired and that’s no fun
I would much rather feel a rush
With a fiery Mars in Sagittarius
 
Planet Pluto brought an endless pain
Since my folks left days aren’t the same
Now they’re spirits in the sky
Leaving hearts to mend after tears we cry
 
If you’re going through some rough years
Still unsure in life or love
Stay mutable and try to shift gears
Learning lessons from the signs above
 
Oh transits come and go
As seasons change we find our flow
Moving past us fast though
Some travel slow
Transits always show
What it’s time to know
 
This human experience on Earth
Will one day bring us to rebirth
