Image by Enrique Meseguer from Pixabay First some quick tips to understanding more about these Astrological transits: The Zodiac Signs are 12 specific constellations along our ecliptic belt where viewed from Earth we see the planets travel. All times stated are based on Eastern Time Zone. Planetary movements aside from the luminaries (Moon and Sun) can be felt days before and after their exact aspects. I interpret the sky using modern Tropical Western Astrology for insights. *The Moon Void-of-Course is a brief transitional interval when there are no major aspects between the Moon and other planets as La Luna leaves one zodiac sign for the next sequential sign. People often feel vague, unsure and clarity can be lacking during v/c periods. Activities you initiate (like scheduling appointments or making important decisions) will likely need to be redone, adjusted and/or course corrected once the Moon is in a new phase and no longer “void-of-course”. Monday, May 24 This week quietly begins with little action except for an extreme Scorpio Moon in brief early evening opposition to Uranus in Taurus and square Saturn in Aquarius. These 3 together make what’s called a T-square. You may feel challenged and called to make adjustments however these are fixed vitalities and any changes required now can seem hard and harsh. Tuesday, May 25 *Moon Void-of-Course @ 5:20 PM – 10:39 PM – Moon leaves intense Scorpio to enter sparkling Sagittarius Sagittarius makes us want to run farther and faster, especially as this sign is next in line for a Lunar Eclipse. Wednesday, May 26 @ 7:14 AM – A TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE AT 5° SAGITTARIUS The Moon in Sagittarius will be in precise opposition to the Sun in Gemini. Eclipses are like portals that bring us fresh trajectories for the next 6 months or more. Using pre- and post-eclipse natal calculations, astrologers can add forecasting tools for when events may occur. People with their Sun or Ascendant in one of the mutable signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo) will likely feel this shift most strongly. Take your time and don’t rush. The old adage haste makes waste applies here as the upcoming Mercury retrograde will confuse matters further. Thursday, May 27 *Moon Void-of-Course @ 1:35 PM – 10:23 PM – Moon leaves adventurous Sagittarius to enter concrete Capricorn @ 3:25 PM – Venus in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces It’s a wonderful interval for creative and vivid imagination. Art, music, and design projects are favored today. Relationships can be somewhat confusing. There’s a tendency to see people through rose-colored glasses. This includes how you view your relationship with money. Be mindful that what you really value will stand the test of time. Friday, May 28 Enjoy another relatively quiet day of planetary happenings. We’re all probably still somewhat stressed from Wednesday’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. Saturday, May 29 @ 1:13 AM – Mercury conjunct Venus in Gemini Good vibes and curious connections are intertwined for convivial conversations plus fun and games. It’s best to remember how in most games there are winners and losers. Be sure you know who’s playing on your team. @ 10:36 AM – Moon in Capricorn opposition Mars in Cancer Any push comes to shove attitude may leave folks hurt, cranky or crabby. Tact and diplomacy are advised. *Moon Void-of-Course @ 6:15 PM – 12:04 AM Sunday A powerful Moon conjunct Pluto leaves serious Capricorn to enter reformist Aquarius @ 6:34 PM – RETROGRADE MERCURY IN GEMINI UNTIL JUNE 22 If you haven’t yet heard of the “RE-Factor” I urge you to consider applying it during this 3-week time period. Just about any word that starts with “re” is what the astrology beckons us to do rather than begin something new. Examples include: review, revise, restructure, refresh, renew, redo, redesign, renegotiate, recalculate, revolt, resolve, redefine, retest, responsibility, rejoice, reuse, reestablish, reapply, reboot, reiterate, reenter, reformulate, regroup, rehash, reclaim, rekindle, rely, remorse, renounce, reorganize, repudiate, request, rerun, restock, return, reject, remember, rebrand, reverse, rework, reexamine, replant, recapitulate, rebound, restrict, retort, retract, reimagine, reapply, react, reenact, etc. Sunday, May 30 With all the eclipse and retrograde energies still reeling, we’ll hardly notice the upcoming Mars in Cancer trine to Neptune in Pisces which is exact early Monday morning. Reflecting the sky, whatever transitions we initiate over the next few months should be beneficial. p.s. The music theme song for this week’s zodiac story is none other than Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” highlighting Tuesday’s Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxuThNgl3YA Wishing you blessings and much love this week.
