Image "Galaxy" by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay BIG NEWS! Saturn is stationing to turn retrograde early Sunday morning. We’re getting ready to review our structures. Music theme song for this week’s zodiac movements: “Sleeping at Last” classical composition “Saturn”. In the same way Saturn teaches patience, if you learn this lesson there are wonderful lyrics sung after a very long music interlude (starting at 2:26 if you’re still impatient). Honestly, these words brought this sensitive Pisces soul to tears. Open a new window to listen and see video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzNvk80XY9s Note: All transits are based on Eastern Time Zone. Planetary movements can be felt days before and after their perfected phase aspects. I use Modern Tropical Western Psychological Astrology for insights. The Zodiac Signs are 12 specific constellations along our ecliptic belt where viewed from Earth we see the planets travel. Moon transits are usually fleeting except for New and Full Moons or Lunar and Solar Eclipses. When La Luna conjoins or makes an angular square or opposition to certain planets, there’s usually more oomph of feeling like some kind of action is necessary. I’ll mention the most significant journeys to watch as appropriate. *Moon Void-of-Course is a brief length of time when things you initiate (e.g. scheduling appointments) will very likely need to be redone, adjusted and/or continued. Monday, May 17 *Moon Void-of-Course @ 2:23 AM – 8:44 AM – Moon leaves home loving Cancer to enter lighthearted Leo @ 5:49 AM – Sun in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn This is a grounded practical energy for transforming life in ways that harmonize with what we love. Not a bad way to start the Monday work week! You can accomplish a great deal with determination and organization. Tuesday, May 18 @ 7:44 AM – Venus in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries Cheerful and curious interests are possible when we take action toward healing our own individual selves and initiate this with others. Flexibility is the keyword to finding restorative methods that also engage our mind. Meditation and music can awaken our senses for an uplifting experience. Wednesday, May 19 *Moon Void-of-Course @ 3:13 PM – 4:59 PM – Moon leaves joyful Leo to enter analytical Virgo @ 9:58 PM – Venus in Gemini trine Saturn in Aquarius Dualism and diversity in relationships may seem easier now. It’s a good time for forming new alliances and making all kinds of progress. Societal issues take center stage as does determining what are values are in how we’d like to see humanity designed. Discourse over Artificial Intelligence and Robotics can surface. Thursday, May 20 @ 3:37 PM – Sun enters Gemini Convos will now feel more uplifted and communicative for the following month. Many ideas will come forth with people talking. Comedy will help enlighten the mood. Freshly quick-paced mental activity can scatter our energies. Luckily the continued transit of Moon in Virgo can have you emotionally focused on altruistic service and details for some balance. Friday, May 21 @ 11:03 AM – Sun in Gemini square Jupiter in Pisces Don’t be surprised if you find yourself talking about big dreams and goals, future visions, travel plans and perhaps also grandiose ideals. Exaggeration and going overboard are easy to do with this dynamism although ill advised. Remember the golden reality that practical plans and noble actions are best for long range gains. *Moon Void-of-Course @ 3:56 PM – 9:35 PM – Moon leaves logical Virgo to enter loving Libra Saturday, May 22 @ 10:43 PM – Mercury in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces Communications and thinking may be muddled and confused. Try to be clear in your intentions. Choose your words with kindness and think carefully before you speak. Certain truths can be missing from the dialogues you’re having with others and within your own mind. This transit is characteristic of deliberate or innocent deception by self and/or others. Sunday, May 23 @ 5:21 AM – Saturn Retrograde! The planet of “Father Time” appears as if it’s moving backward now and continues this reverse path until October 10. The long 5-month retrograde phase is perfect for reviewing and revising all the structures in your life to see what’s working and/or what you’d like to change. Saturn is our guardian planet for discipline and life lessons, so hopefully these qualities are being integrated into your life as well. *Moon Void-of-Course @ 5:36 PM – 11:00 PM – Moon leaves harmonious Libra to enter intense Scorpio After a few days of seeking balance our emotions are hit with a wave of passion, focus and concentration. We’re also still adjusting to the shift in direction of Saturn earlier in the day. Light a candle or spray some aromatherapy smudge if you need to calm down. Say prayers of gratitude for saving grace as more planets including Mercury will be turning retrograde very soon. Wishing you blessings and much love this week. Trudy Carol © 2021 Trudy Carol.
